In late 2020, my wife and I were expecting twins and quickly realized our 2017 Tacoma wouldn’t cut it for our growing family. So, we set out to find the perfect replacement—a 2019 TRD Pro 4Runner. I told myself I wouldn’t mod it… that lasted 24 hours. By the time I picked it up in Maryland, I was already installing parts!
With no return flight, my brother and I turned the drive home into an epic adventure. Lake days in Tennessee, high-alpine trails in Colorado, off-roading in Moab, camping in Arches, and exploring Mammoth Lakes before returning to SoCal.
Fast forward to today; our family has embraced the off-road life, and our kids love it! We’ve made lifelong friends, explored incredible places, and continue building our 4Runner to reach the most remote destinations. Places less than 1% of the world will ever see. And we’re just getting started!
